Responsibilities
- Architect & Develop: Build high-performance, responsive 2D rendering engines and interactive tools using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps animations even on low-end devices.
- Animation Engineering: Implement complex physics-based animations and transitions using CSS3, Web Animations API, or requestAnimationFrame.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI teams to translate complex design mockups into pixel-perfect, accessible code.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to strict coding standards and best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers and share knowledge on advanced 2D graphics techniques within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the DOM, event loop, and JavaScript closures.
- Graphics Expertise: Strong experience with HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and basic WebGL knowledge.
- Performance: Proven track record of optimizing web applications for speed and rendering efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex rendering issues and cross-browser compatibility challenges.
- Tools: Proficiency in Git, modern build tools (Webpack/Vite), and version control workflows.
