Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for machine learning models deployed in regulated industries
- Lead cross-functional working groups including engineers, legal, and social scientists
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product development lifecycles and stakeholder communications
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and adapt compliance strategies
- Design transparency protocols for algorithmic decision-making systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven track record in developing AI governance policies for enterprise-scale deployments
- Deep expertise in fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) principles for ML systems
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI) preferred
- Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare (HIPAA) or finance (GDPR/CCPA)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics journals/conferences
