Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI models
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and fairness in high-stakes applications
- Develop policy recommendations for emerging biometric and neural interface technologies
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies on evolving AI legislation and compliance standards
- Establish transparency protocols for AI decision-making processes in consumer and enterprise products
- Train technical teams on ethical AI implementation and responsible innovation practices
- Author industry position papers on AI safety and societal impact
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or Juris Doctor with AI specialization
- 5+ years in AI governance, policy development, or tech ethics leadership
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Proven track record of publishing in AI ethics journals or conferences
- Experience with large language model governance and bias mitigation
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, legal, and public sectors
- Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI)
- Understanding of quantum computing implications for future AI systems
