Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-optimized neural networks and biologically-inspired AI models
- Architect next-generation AI systems with embedded ethical governance frameworks for 2026 deployment
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world problem solving
- Establish research partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Develop patentable intellectual property in quantum-AI convergence domains
- Mentor emerging researchers in emerging technologies and responsible innovation
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences like NeurIPS and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, Computational Neuroscience, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years leading research teams in quantum computing or advanced AI systems
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic engineering, or topological quantum computing
- Published work in Nature/Science or top-tier AI/quantum journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, alignment, and governance frameworks
- Experience securing multi-million dollar research grants from NSF, DARPA, or similar bodies
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to translate research into commercial applications
