Responsibilities
- Perform Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Develop Visualizations: Create intuitive and interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate data findings effectively.
- SQL Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from databases and support reporting requirements.
- Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and research to assist in the development of new products and marketing strategies.
- Statistical Modeling: Assist in the design and implementation of statistical models to predict market trends and customer behavior.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Academic Standing: Must be able to earn academic credit for this internship.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Experience with Python or R is a significant plus.
- Visualization Tools: Familiarity with data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
