Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields (quantum AI, biotech fusion, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional squads of engineers, designers, and futurists through agile innovation sprints
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech ecosystems
- Develop patentable IP in next-gen computing and sustainable tech domains
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders for resource allocation
- Mentor junior talent in future-proof skill development (neuro-interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation leadership with proven R&D commercialization track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications (IEEE, Nature Futures)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Experience scaling innovations from concept to $100M+ product lines
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Global network connections in venture capital and academic innovation labs
