Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 3-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for emerging tech (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budgets through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor 5+ technical specialists in emerging technology domains
- Publish thought leadership pieces in top-tier industry publications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership roles
- Proven track record launching products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least three future-tech domains: quantum, AR/VR, or neuromorphic computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Demonstrated success in securing innovation funding from executive stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ technical specialists
