Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 tech breakthroughs
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, and climate-tech
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with market forecasts
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 3+ verticals
- Drive patent development for emerging tech IP portfolios
- Coordinate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford Future Labs for joint ventures
- Present findings to global tech forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ in leadership roles
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE journals (2020-2023)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or carbon capture tech
- Proven track record scaling tech from prototype to market
- Security clearance preferred for government partnerships
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
