- Develop future-proof product architectures with 10-year scalability horizons
- Partner with ethics councils to establish responsible innovation frameworks
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging technologies
- Proven track record shipping products using quantum/AI/biotech innovations
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science on human-technology symbiosis
- Deep expertise in tech forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience securing federal grants for future-tech R&D
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech paradigm shifts
