Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption and innovation ROI
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with fiscal responsibility
- Mentor junior strategists and build an innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching next-gen tech products (AI/ML, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong data modeling and visualization skills (Python, Tableau)
- Exceptional communication with executive stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic tech initiatives
