Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology roadmaps with 18-24 month predictive capabilities
- Design and validate proof-of-concept prototypes for next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and lead a specialized innovation incubation team
- Establish KPI frameworks for emerging technology adoption
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in predictive modeling tools
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
