Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems (quantum AI, AR/VR ecosystems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 scale
- Expertise in at least 2 emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, neuromorphic computing)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future-forward technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management across global teams
- Proficiency in strategic innovation frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, Blue Ocean Strategy)
