Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligning with 2026 market predictions and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation roadmaps and investment recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive R&D initiatives focused on sustainable and ethical technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate an innovation-first culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or biotech convergence
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills with data-driven decision-making
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
