Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) through 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and business teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Published speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- US citizenship required for government partnership projects
