Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech, etc.) for strategic alignment with business objectives
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 3-5 years with clear milestones and KPIs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and align stakeholders on future tech initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market assessments to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven justifications
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, Web3, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certifications in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology assessment preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills with executive presence
- Experience in high-growth tech environments (scale-up or enterprise)
