Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential (2026+ timeframe)
- Develop and maintain a strategic technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and technological disruptions to inform strategy
- Collaborate with R&D teams to evaluate and prototype emerging innovations
- Present technology insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate future technologies into core offerings
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and technology pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology assessment
- Proven track record of translating technological trends into business value
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities with systems-level perspective
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Master's degree in relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Business) or equivalent experience
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
