Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, anticipating market shifts and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent filings to identify first-mover advantages in emerging tech sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture partners with compelling data narratives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to bridge theoretical concepts with commercial viability
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and government innovation labs
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and futures forecasting
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and market analysis platforms
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or peer-reviewed research
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-functional teams
