- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Oversee proof-of-concept projects for next-gen automation and energy systems
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior researchers in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on future-tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Track record of commercializing early-stage technologies
- Experience with regulatory frameworks governing emerging technologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Foresight Practitioner Network)
