Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (AI, quantum computing, Web3, biotech)
- Identify and partner with startups, research institutions, and academic pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate paradigm shifts
- Lead proof-of-concept projects for breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of technology scouts and innovation partners
- Ensure compliance with emerging regulatory frameworks for new technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major conferences
