Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology strategy with focus on 2026+ innovation horizons
- Lead market research and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
- Develop proof-of-concept frameworks for breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio allocation across emerging tech verticals
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technological impact
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Strong financial modeling skills for large-scale tech investments
- PhD or Master's in relevant technical field (preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in emerging technologies
