Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains
- Lead strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA research initiatives
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and quantum computing systems
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototyping future technologies
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Coordinate with global R&D teams on sustainable tech implementation
- Monitor geopolitical tech policy developments and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience with quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in securing federal research grants (SBIR/STTR)
- Published author in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency in strategic modeling tools (e.g., System Dynamics, Agent-Based Modeling)
