Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 18-24 month vision
- Identify emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology) for commercialization
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for future tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investor committees
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior technologists on future-proof skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for developing technologies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
