Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with 5+ engineers and designers
- Secure $1M+ in annual innovation grants and partnerships
- Present strategic tech forecasts to C-suite and venture partners
- Drive patent development in emerging fields (target: 3+ patents/year)
- Mentor junior technologists in future-proof methodologies
- Analyze global tech trends to inform product development cycles
Qualifications
- 8+ years in R&D or technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching commercial tech products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
- Strong publication record in IEEE/Nature journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
