Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape evaluations for disruptive innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor partnerships
- Mentor technical teams on future-proof architecture and ethical implementation
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry conferences and publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
