Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead ideation sessions for breakthrough innovations in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into product development lifecycles
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for experimental prototype development
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and industry stakeholders
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record in launching market-defining products (2+ exits or unicorn launches)
- Expertise in at least three future-tech verticals: AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across 3+ continents
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
