Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for future tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused prioritization
- Author thought leadership reports on tech disruption trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, nanotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Strong stakeholder management at C-suite level
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
- Fluency in data analytics tools (Python, Tableau, etc.)
