Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (Web4, quantum applications, etc.)
- Analyze geopolitical/regulatory impacts on tech adoption scenarios
- Partner with VCs and startups to identify disruptive technologies
- Design ethical frameworks for AI/automation integration
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor horizon-scanning reports from MIT, World Economic Forum, and Gartner
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., IEEE, TechCrunch)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Shell's Two Degrees)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, JavaScript preferred)
- Portfolio of past future-tech initiatives with measurable impact
