Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026, positioning Nexus at the vanguard of emerging tech
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch innovative products with 12-month commercialization cycles
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Present compelling technology roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for major initiatives
- Monitor global tech regulations and ethical frameworks, ensuring compliance while maintaining innovation velocity
- Mentor a team of 5-7 technologists and strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching AI/quantum solutions with measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing architectures, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level experience presenting complex tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging tech
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful transformation of futuristic concepts to market-ready products
