Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and industry disruption trends
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI precursors) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation pods to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption impact and ROI
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic labs and research institutions
- Author thought leadership on future tech implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least 2 emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology ROI projection
- PhD or Master's degree in relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Physics)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
