Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring next-gen tech applications
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental projects
- Drive ethical frameworks for AI and autonomous systems development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystem
- Certification in Strategic Technology Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation publications
