Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial computing) to inform 5-year strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing technologies
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks and disruption threat models
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Manage a $2M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
- Mentor senior engineers on future technology adoption pathways
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning)
