- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic research institutions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years at director/executive level
- Proven track record in scaling technology products to 7+ figure revenues
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with federal tech policy committees or international standards bodies
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully commercialized futuristic technologies
