Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology sectors
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and commercializing innovations
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with executive experience
- Published author or speaker at 3+ major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks and innovation methodologies
- Portfolio showcasing successful technology commercialization projects
