Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ implementation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future solutions
- Evaluate and integrate disruptive technologies into existing product ecosystems through proof-of-concept projects
- Present strategic technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Develop competitive analysis frameworks to position InnovateNext at the forefront of technological disruption
- Drive commercialization strategies for emerging technologies through market validation and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or managing P&L for innovation initiatives
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing C-suite and investor audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry white papers
