Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for the 2026 product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- System Design: Design robust, scalable microservices and distributed systems capable of handling high-throughput workloads.
- Talent Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Technical Oversight: Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and performance tuning to ensure system integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Future-Proofing: Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Edge) and integrate them into our current stack where applicable.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, and containerization.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in functional programming paradigms.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
