Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with corporate objectives and market disruption timelines
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, decentralized systems)
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for breakthrough technologies with 18-24 month commercialization horizons
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor competitive technology landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies with 3+ successful implementations
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotechnology, or Web3 infrastructure
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional) or innovation management preferred
