- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI for future-focused projects
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching technology-driven products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, climate tech) and their commercial applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing organizational change
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-vision execution and scenario planning
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
