Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast 2026+ market shifts
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product innovation and operational strategy
- Author white papers and thought leadership on emerging technologies and future work paradigms
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate hypotheses
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 clients
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS from APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
