Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscape
- Design innovation roadmaps aligning with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops using futures thinking methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Produce strategic briefings and executive presentations on disruptive forces and opportunity spaces
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish global networks with futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Quantify market potential and risk assessment for emerging innovation vectors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, journals, keynotes)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP analysis)
- Experience guiding organizational transformation through innovation frameworks
