Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Design and validate future-proof business models for emerging markets
- Present foresight briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with venture-style KPIs
- Build and lead cross-disciplinary 'Future Teams' across engineering and design
- Author annual 'State of the Future' industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry journals
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
- Deep knowledge of climate tech, neurotech, or Web3 ecosystems
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
