Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces) to identify commercial opportunities
- Develop future scenario models for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, energy, and mobility sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications read by C-suite executives at Davos and CES
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-adjacent solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in strategic foresight
- Published research in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or peer-reviewed journals on exponential technologies
- Proven track record of launching products based on future trend analysis (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (STEEP, Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep knowledge of AI governance frameworks and ethical implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with patent analysis and technology valuation methodologies
