You'll translate complex signals into actionable strategies that drive multi-billion dollar investments and shape global technology policy.
Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum AI, synthetic biology, and climate-tech verticals
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and Board of Directors quarterly
- Manage $50M+ R&D budgets with 95% execution accuracy
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, DARPA, and EU Horizon Europe
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports influencing industry policy
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 10+ years in strategic innovation roles with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Technology Review
- Proven track record of launching $100M+ innovation initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and disruption analysis
- Deep network in global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Fluency in futures methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaborative projects
