Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for market positioning in disruptive sectors (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future insights into R&D priorities
- Present trend analyses and scenario planning to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and industry reports
- Establish innovation frameworks for evaluating emerging business models and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future trends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures literature
