Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and social dynamics to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives to mitigate risks and capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and evaluate breakthrough startups in strategic domains
- Design and maintain a 'Future Radar' monitoring system with real-time trend analytics
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of domain experts and trend spotters
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of publishing industry forecasts or thought leadership (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, neurotechnology adoption, climate-tech convergence, or digital identity systems
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex scenarios into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams across APAC, EMEA, and Americas markets
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend-tracking platforms
