Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to forecast developments impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight reports with executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Integrate foresight insights into product development, market entry, and business strategy
- Monitor horizon scanning outputs and provide early-warning signals on disruptive threats/opportunities
- Champion a culture of innovation and future-readiness across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from futurists.org) strongly preferred
