Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, economic, and cultural trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop strategic scenarios and roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize foresight insights into actionable product strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions addressing future market needs
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports for executive decision-making
- Monitor horizon scanning systems and validate emerging signals through expert networks
- Advise leadership on ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech, quantum)
- Proven ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives
- Experience with foresight tools like Delphi method, STEEP analysis, or weak signal detection
- Strong portfolio demonstrating future-focused strategy implementations
- Excellent presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
