Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to identify emerging trends and disruptive forces
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to co-create future scenarios and strategic roadmaps
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario planning documents for C-suite executives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market opportunities
- Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics to track innovation maturity and future-readiness
- Represent the company at global foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping projects for major organizations
