Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, geopolitics) to forecast 2026+ market shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience and growth
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into corporate strategy
- Author thought leadership reports and executive briefings on emerging paradigms
- Partner with R&D to prioritize breakthrough innovation investments
- Advise board on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity capture
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend analyses or scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in quantitative forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience advising C-suite executives in Fortune 500 organizations
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with >70% accuracy
