Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 2026+ scenario frameworks for executive decision-making and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into innovation cycles
- Produce strategic white papers and trend briefs for industry thought leadership
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
- Translate complex future-state concepts into compelling executive narratives
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative discipline
- Proven experience developing 5-10 year strategic scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI ethics, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation portfolio
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
