Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and global megatrends to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for 2026+ horizons
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and product development
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster organizational foresight and innovation culture
- Produce thought leadership reports and presentations for internal/external stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors impacting future business landscapes
- Advise on ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects or published thought leadership
